Aunt K and Cal in Butte Meadows

We had a fun weekend in Butte Meadows with Kyrstin, Cal and my parents!  As you can see from the pictures--Owen and Cal had a great time doing everything together! 

Ashland

My mom and I decided to head up to Ashland last week and visit my cousin Sara and her two boys.  We got a bonus that my Aunt Jackie was there also!  We got to see their beautiful new home, get spoiled with an amazing lunch, exchange birth stories and kid stories, watch Owen and Luke play together (they are only six weeks apart) and Levi and Samuel hang out together (they are only 3 weeks apart).  :)  Sara and Jess moved to Ashland the same year we moved to Redding and we've been saying we want to get up there for the last two years!  It is only a little over two hours away and we hadn't been up there yet.  It was such a fun trip!

We told Owen on the way up that we are going to go see Luke.  So he said "Uncle Luke and Grandpa Leo!!"  He associates them together now after all our walks to their office when we were in Colusa.  So we had to say--no, cousin Luke.  And he said Anna Em??  So he thought he was going to get to see the cousins he hung out with in Butte Meadows all last week.  So we said just wait and we will show you who Luke is when we get there.  Owen had a great time playing with Luke the whole time we were there.  And when we got in the car he told me "I wanna play with Uncle Luke again..."  Oh no.  I think we confused him.  :)

Who's who?  These two little bald-blondies were just about the same size at two weeks and five weeks old.  Levi is the one chilling out in the back and Sam is getting held by Aunt Jackie.  :)  Lots of fun playtime ahead for these two!

The boys took turns trying to snag the berries.  And just look at that food again. I will probably have to make it back up to Ashland this summer.  ;)
