It's May Not Be the Road to Hana but...

Adam and Anna came up for a visit with their new Jeep!  So we sent the kids to Peggy's (preschool/daycare) and made the trip up Mt. Hough and over to Taylorsville with the Jeep.  It was beautiful at the top!!  Last time we made a road trip with these guys we were in a mustang convertible on the Road to Hana in Hawaii.  Instead of a convertible mustang and ocean views, we had the top off the Jeep and had some amazing Plumas County views.  It may not be the Road to Hana but it's a close second.  :)

Checking out views of Lassen, Spanish Peak and beyond :)

Road Trip Part 2: Scappoose

The second leg of our road trip was up to Scappoose to visit the Kessi family!  We all had an awesome time and the kids wore themselves out every day playing so much!  We got to go to the pumpkin patch and soccer and the park and play at their house.  Lots of playing and fun!

This is Owen praying for his food.  It is always so hard to tell if he is having fun with his cousins or not...

I just wish I could tell if he was having a good time...

How beautiful is their backyard!?  So fun to be there and we had the most beautiful weather!

My camera could not focus on these kids!  Having too much fun!

Breakfast time!

Off to the pumpkin patch!

My sweet Goddaughter!

Look what Kate found!

Such a little cutie!

The Golden goodness of fall captured in a picture! It was such a beautiful night!

The four year olds!

Grandma and Annie

I don't know where my mom gets the patience to let kids help cook!  They love it though!

We got to watch Grace and Will play soccer while we were there!

AND we got to go the play structure when practice was over!

Road Trip Part 1: Bend!

Last week my mom drove up to Quincy and we headed out on the first leg of our 6 day road trip--headed to Bend to see Emily and Sara and their kiddos!  I spend so much time getting my kids together with THEIR cousins I realized more than a year had gone by between seeing MY cousins!  Emily was so great to host us, and we had a great time catching up on each others lives while our kids played together.  :)

Cuteness!

Just a glimpse of the crazy that these two boys were together!  Bouncing off the walls or falling of chairs...you never really knew what was coming next.  :)

Joey and Finn!  Look at that smile--it was non-stop!

Emily got the boys SUPERMAN SWEATSHIRTS!  Is there anything cooler than that??!  Nope!

I love Sam's smile peeking around Levi!  I also love that Levi and Sam are super-blondie-cousin-twins!

A little downtime reading with Sara

Fun to get to hang out with my cousins!

At the Fall Festival painting pumpkins!

So fun and such a beautiful day!

What would you do without the Grandmas?!
