We were spending a lot of time as a family by June and our way of getting out was to go for a few hikes! One day up at Bucks Lake and another over at Lake's Basin area by Graeagle. Joey and I loved not having to bring a bunch of gear and a hiking backpack. We didn't go far, but everyone hiked on their own! For the most part. :)
A COLD day up at Bucks Lake!
Owen was really proud of how he kept warm underneath his vest! They all LOVE jumping around on rocks!
Lakes Basin and there was still snow in June!
Owen found a perfect hiking stick!
Helping Abby navigate the snow melt.
Well, that is one way to help her across! :)
Look at our big girl walking on her own! Parenting milestone right there!
Of course she has a few older siblings influencing her hike...
So proud!
She LOVED this hike! This is her walking stick, just like Owen.
Woohoo!!!
Always off trail...it takes a half hour to walk about 20 feet with this crew!
You can bet she wanted to do this bridge several times!
Our BIG hiker!
What a crew!
We did it!
