Father's Day Weekend

It wouldn't be Father's Day without a lot of food and lots of time at the river!  We made Joey lots of his favorite foods on Father's Day and enjoyed our river the whole weekend!

Prepping for breakfast!

Eggs Benedict!

Eggs Benedict and kitten cuddles.

Look at that breakfast!

We worked hard on this one!  And it was good!

Prepping the homemade ice cream!

Dinner!

It wouldn't be Father's Day without bacon!

The kids set the table and were so proud!

Churning the homemade ice cream!

Maya and Mango love!

Owen trying to tear Liv away from churning the ice cream...good luck!

Once she started churning she HAD TO BE THE ONE CHURNING!

Thankfully Abby is the sweetest sister!

It's ok Liv, you can do it!

Sundaes!

Now river time!

We love being right on the river!!

The kids are definitely living their best life!

Abby swimming!

We decided to let the ducks free range in the River.  They love water way to much to be cooped up!

There they go!

Jasper and Splash!

And then Maya chasing them!

They are actually surviving out there!!

Levi's Birthday!

Our little man turned seven today!!  We have had a daily countdown since Owen's birthday--so the last three months we have have been patiently waiting for this day--and here it finally is!!

We started the day watching his video compiled by his friends and family.  He totally loved it!  It was our first "corona" birthday and it was super fun to connect with family and friends through the video!

After the video we had a Levi breakfast of waffles and whipped cream.  Then after Joey left, the kids broke me down and we opened ALL of Levi's presents.  After waiting 90+ days for this day we just couldn't wait anymore.  And he got outdoor gifts so it was fun to open them!  We did a water baloon fight, squirt gun fight, played on the slackline and played his new frisbie game.  Owen made Levi's birthday cake!  He made it from start to finish as one of Levi's presents.  Ever since his own birthday he is quite the master of the Red Velvet Cake!  :)  He worked really hard on Levi's and it turned out awesome!  He frosted it and added crumbs as a decoration.  We also made two other cakes and cupcakes for good measure.  Such a fun day--even if it was a "rona-birthday"!

Turning 7!!

Playing on the new slackline!

June Hikes!

We were spending a lot of time as a family by June and our way of getting out was to go for a few hikes!  One day up at Bucks Lake and another over at Lake's Basin area by Graeagle.  Joey and I loved not having to bring a bunch of gear and a hiking backpack.  We didn't go far, but everyone hiked on their own!  For the most part.  :)
A COLD day up at Bucks Lake!

Owen was really proud of how he kept warm underneath his vest!  They all LOVE jumping around on rocks!

Lakes Basin and there was still snow in June!

Owen found a perfect hiking stick!

Helping Abby navigate the snow melt.

Well, that is one way to help her across!  :)

Look at our big girl walking on her own!  Parenting milestone right there!

Of course she has a few older siblings influencing her hike...

So proud!

She LOVED this hike!  This is her walking stick, just like Owen.

Woohoo!!!

Always off trail...it takes a half hour to walk about 20 feet with this crew!

You can bet she wanted to do this bridge several times!

Our BIG hiker!

What a crew!

We did it!
