Snow!

We went to Butte Meadows to check out the snow yesterday.  We found a lot of snow up there!  The most I have ever seen...of course I wouldn't have been brave enough to drive up there in it if it wasn't for Joey.  It was really beautiful.  We brought cross country skis and a sled but we didn't get too far.  Even with the skis on we sunk into the snow, and without the skis it was way worse.  So we parked and played in the snow a little bit and then headed back.  Which probably worked out best for Owen who wasn't a huge fan of the snow this year.  Maybe next year...

Winter wonderland!

Driving on Humboldt Road near the summit

We couldn't walk without sinking so Joey pulled us on the sled.

Picnic tables at the fire house

After Joey threw Owen in the snow.  Isn't going to the snow so much fun?  I think his face answers that question.
Our upside down snowman with our upside down kid.  And Maya trying to get in on the picture too!

Joey got to do a little sledding

We didn't make it farther than the fire station picnic area.  Every step we took sunk us deeper than our knees!  At least there was a little hill to go down close by.

Hanging out with family in Colusa after going to the snow

Will was so helpful and came in and asked my mom--"Grandma, can I help with anything?"  He set the kids table and made sure everyone had what they needed.  Such a great helper!

Eating dinner together.  Owen doesn't usually get to eat outside of the confines of a high chair, so he felt like a big kid getting to eat with Will and Grace (wool and gace as Owen says it).  He loves hanging out with his cousins and they are so sweet to him!
