Owen turned two last Friday! As hard as it is to believe we have a two year old, he really is changing and turning into a little boy. He is constantly talking--the catch is that only about two words out of twenty are recognizable as English. :)
Lately he really likes trying to feed his stuffed animals crackers or give them some of his milk. He also likes to wrap them in a blanket for their "nap time". Maybe it is his preparation for his future sibling who will be here in about three months? :)
His favorite songs to sing are his ABC's that sometimes after A-B turn into A-B-I-N-G-O. :) He also loves Tukle Star (twinkle star) and Ba Ba Black Sheep. I will often hear him singing these in his crib mid-nap. The good thing is he sings himself right back to sleep. :)
He got a balloon for his birthday which was in his playroom waiting for him when he woke up. He gasped when he saw it he was so excited and hasn't stopped playing with it since. He spent his birthday wishing anyone he saw a "happy birthday!" which may indicate that he doesn't know what happy birthday means yet. ;) We had fun celebrating our happy little man and are so thankful for the blessing that he is to us!
