Tuesday Ditch Day at Lassen

Joey and I have the same day off, so we are keeping the babysitter and making Tuesdays our getaway days.  Kid free!  Not that we don't love our kids, but a kid free seven hours is pretty amazing.  :):)  Today we went to Lassen Park for some cross country skiing.  It was a beautiful day!

The road we skied was the highway that is closed for the winter.  Amazing views!

Joey couldn't resist jumping off the side of the road and creating a downhill ski run.  What goes down must climb back up...  When we got back to the lodge you could see his ski tracks.  :)
