Hawaii!

Joey and I just got back from a week away to celebrate the end of residency and our five year anniversary!  We left the kids with my mom and dad and went to Maui!  :)  It was everything we could have hoped for in a relaxing vacation!

Our friends planned a trip to Maui that overlapped with ours and we didn't even know it.  What better people to celebrate residency ending than with someone else who is celebrating residency ending!

This is my first stand up paddle boarding day.  I got WAY better by the last day.  :)

Our mornings started with stand up paddle boarding, then we got the snorkel gear, then we got the boogie boards.  In between those we would read on the beach.  It was pretty nice!
